Treat of the Day

Upon learning that I have borderline high cholesterol (likely due to my genes), I was discussing treatment options with one of the senior scientists with whom I work. Helping to alleviate my concerns, my co-worker informed me that I am "too pretty to have a heart attack".

Let the adventure begin

Picture it: Atlanta, Georgia, 2009. The temperature is dropping, and the housewives are real and desperate. Though Atlanta is where I called home for the last 1.5 years, my home will temporarily change. I am moving from the right coast to the left coast and will find my new abode in San Francisco.

For the next five months, I will be living, working, and playing in the Bay Area before returning to Atlanta. Though I wish you could all join me on my adventures in Northern California, let this blog allow you to live vicariously through me. And I promise to upload a picture or two.
